In fast-paced public safety environments, radio transmissions often contain critical information that needs to be captured, understood, and acted on immediately. HindSight brings powerful transcription capabilities to the forefront—transforming voice into searchable, actionable text.

Radio Audio Searching, Made Easy

Once transcribed, the text is intelligently linked to the original audio, making it easy to search, filter, and review specific phrases or moments. When a user searches for a term—such as “pursuit northbound” or “officer needs backup”—the system scans the transcript metadata to identify relevant audio files. Once a match is found, the user can open the corresponding audio file and review the full transcript in context.

Additionally, users can download both the audio and its associated transcript together. This is particularly useful for incident reconstruction, training, or legal review, where having both the spoken record and its textual representation is essential.

We Trained for This

At the heart of HindSight’s radio intelligence is a proprietary AI model, which is trained on real-world public safety audio, including:

  • Radio and phone traffic from PSAPs, Real-Time Crime Centers, and school security programs
  • Challenging acoustic conditions like mumbling, overlapping speech, non-native English accents, background noise, and SCBA-masked voices
  • Multichannel radio transmissions and 911 calls, ensuring high fidelity in transcription even under stress
