Exacom’s HindSight™ Line of Multimedia Logging Recorders Now Certified with IPC Unigy Platform

Exacom is pleased to announce certified interoperability between Exacom’s industry-leading multimedia logging recorder solutions and the IPC Unigy Platform. This integration enables Unigy voice communications and associated metadata to be captured, archived, organized, and replayed within the Exacom HindSight recording solutions to meet compliance requirements and risk-mitigation needs within the utilities and trading securities markets.

“Exacom’s support for IPC Unigy is critical for our shared customers, especially those that are heavy adopters of IPC solutions in the financial and utility verticals,” said Product Manager Mark Woody. “IPC Unigy customers now have a choice to not only use a proven and market-tested recording platform; they can now leverage the distributed, multi-deployment architecture that is unique to Exacom. The HindSight solution affords customers flexible options to satisfy a range of simple and complex environments.”

Exacom’s recording solutions work with customers’ Unigy platform regardless of how the Unigy system is configured. Firstly, recording can happen via both Secure Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP). This means the Exacom solution is available to customers who use either protocol. Secondly, Exacom’s recording capabilities extend to Unigy’s soft devices in addition to their hard devices (physical turrets/dealerboards). Lastly, by using Exacom’s advanced distributed recording capabilities, customers can capture recordings at geographically diverse communications centers and play back locally or in a centralized fashion.

Exacom will have staff on-site at the UTC Telecom & Technology Show in Fort Worth, TX, June 17-21, 2019. Persons looking to connect with a team member to discuss the IPC integration or Exacom’s multimedia logging recorders are encouraged to contact hannah.slaven@exacom.com to arrange a meeting time.
