Record Avtec Scout Communications

Exacom multimedia logging recorders have integrated with Avtec to securely capture all communications from Avtec Scout dispatch consoles. This integration allows seamless and direct data capture from Scout dispatch consoles to our recording software, HindSight. Exacom can do console or VPGate recording—console recording captures both select and unselect channels from each console, while VPGate provides access to all radio channels.

What We Capture

Avtec Scout audio from analog radios, digital P25 radios, telephone network & all associated metadata:

  • Trigger Event

  • Termination Event

  • Media Description

  • Media Tag

  • Channel Name

  • Alt Source

Radio Specific:

  • Unit ID

  • Talk Group ID

Phone Specific:

  • Direction

  • DTMF

  • Caller ID

  • Redirecting Party

  • Called Party

  • Position

  • Called Party Number

  • Console Name
