The RFP process and awarded contracts enable Utah public entities, nonprofit organizations, and agencies of the federal government to purchase products and services by leveraging pre-arranged pricing and service levels.

“They do a fantastic job of evaluating vendors who only provide the strongest solutions for their state and public safety agencies–not just for the initial purchase but for the entire lifecycle of the logging recorder.”

Typically, agencies that purchase via a State Contract end up receiving higher quality products and services at a better value than what they can find elsewhere. The State of Utah has scrupulous requirements for their contracted vendors in a variety of areas, including:

  • System Scalability & Flexibility
  • Fault Tolerance
  • Failure Reporting & Alarm Methods
  • Privilege-Based Permissions Access
  • Available Interfaces/Integrations Include Those For Radio, Telephony, CAD, P25 VNIC, AIS & More
  • Installation
  • Training
  • Telephone & On-Site Support
  • Warranty & Maintenance

Contracts are only awarded to applicants who meet or exceed the states’ strict criteria. Exacom is the only nationally recognized multimedia logging recorder vendor to be awarded the State of Utah Cooperative Contract in 2020.

“We are honored to be awarded this contract by the Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services, said Al Brisard, President and CEO of Exacom. “They do a fantastic job of evaluating vendors who only provide the strongest solutions for their state and public safety agencies–not just for the initial purchase but for the entire lifecycle of the logging recorder.”

As part of the contract, pricing is guaranteed for the entire 5-year life of the contract. That includes pricing for all installation, maintenance and service agreements, system upgrades, and even replacement parts.
