At IWCE 2022, Exacom announced their ability to record MCPTX communications across a variety of methods, with support for both Samsung and Ericsson LTE/5G networks. This comprehensive strategy includes support for the L3Harris XL series radios which now support Third Generational Partnership Project (3GPP)-compliant mission-critical push to talk (MCPTT).

According to the L3Harris announcement, the radios initially will support MCPTT on FirstNet, but they plan to expand to support Verizon’s Frontline network as well. As the preferred logging recorder of L3Harris, Exacom’s HindSight recording platform is fully capable of recording all L3Harris-enabled communications running through the L3Harris platform.

Exacom’s logging recorder is the only recorder aligned with the L3Harris cybersecurity policies and requirements. HindSight is integrated with the L3Harris VIDA® core to capture audio and metadata from P25, EDACS®, and OpenSky® systems. The recorder also fully supports recording of StatusAware™ Information.
