Exacom is seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our growing team. The Channel Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our market reach, both in the multimedia recording and cybersecurity markets, by driving revenue growth through channel partnerships. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing channel sales strategies, managing partner relationships, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories.  This position will report to the SVP of Sales.

Essential Functions

  1. Develop and Implement Channel Sales Strategy:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop channel sales strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate potential channel partners to expand Exacom and SecuLore’s market presence.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the multimedia recording space and cybersecurity landscape.  Track and assess market trends.
  2. Partner Relationship Management:
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and distributors.
    • Provide training, support, and resources to enable partners to effectively sell Exacom and SecuLore’s solutions.
    • Regularly communicate with partners to ensure alignment on sales objectives and address any issues or concerns.
  3. Sales Execution and Performance Tracking:
    • Drive revenue growth by actively promoting Exacom and SecuLore’s products and solutions through channel partners.
    • Set clear sales targets and objectives for channel partners and track performance against goals.
    • Analyze sales data and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
    • Assist and support partners with go to market planning and execution.
  4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for channel sales initiatives.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop channel-specific collateral, promotions, and campaigns to drive demand and lead generation.
  5. Market Expansion and Business Development:
    • Identify new market opportunities and potential channel partners to expand Exacom and SecuLore’s geographic and vertical market reach.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential partners and customers and promote Exacom and SecuLore’s brand and solutions.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales or partner management, preferably in the public safety arena selling mission critical solutions and technology.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth through channel partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of public safety market, cybersecurity technologies and software solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
