Field/Technical Support Technician

In this role you would be a highly experienced and key contributor to the EXACOM Field and Support team where you will provide both onsite field service support as well as on going remote technical support for EXACOM’s line of multi-media recorders.  This position reports to the Manager of Customer Support and will perform the following key functions:

  • Travel to customer locations as necessary.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work out home office
  • Work remotely with customers to answer questions, troubleshoot issues and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Provide customer training on EXACOM application
  • Perform necessary telecommunications wiring and systems deployment

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (AA-AS degree) plus 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Solid customer relationship skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
  • Understanding of data networking, VoIP, telecommunications wiring and Windows Server 2008/2012 based systems

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience in public safety communications is desired
  • Technical skills in radio communications.
